Full travel insurance cover both medical, accident etc must be compulsory for the all travellers on this adventure. The Insurers terms and conditions must be read and understood. The insurance must include:-
24hr Emergency centre
Alternative travel Emergency accommodation Theft etc Legal assistance Customs duties and taxes Illness and injury
Cancellation or Curtailment Legal expenses Disruption of Scheduled Public transport Loss or theft
The
tariff in 2010 for Vehicle and Personal cover is approx £100
for Vehicle under l0yrs with two persons. Please note vehicle
recovery insurance is not available in Morocco and individual
arrangements must be made to recover own vehicle to Europe.
A vehicle green card is required for Morocco. Approach with care some insurers will only offer third party, others nothing. Frontier insurance is available at the Port of Tanger.
